GTU-2.5P gas turbine rated at 2.5 MW
Designed to drive the generator of mobile, packaged and stationary generator sets. Application of these units for drives of pumps, compressors, etc. is also possible.
GTU-2,5P gas turbine rated at 2.5 MW is used in Ural-2500 packaged gensets and for modernization of PÀES-2500 and EG-2500 mobile power plants.
Description
GTU-2,5P has been designed on the basis of the D-30 aero-engine of the third series, one of the most reliable engines in the history of world aviation.
GTU-2,5P and GTU-4P are the only gas turbine in Russia rated at 2.5 and 4 MW that have ecological certificates of conformity of the Russian Federation State Committee On Environment Protection.

The experience of GTU-2,5P gas turbine operation
As of the beginning of January, 2009 such companies as "Gaspromtransgasyugorsk", "Gaspromdobychanadym", "Burenergo", "Gaspromtransgasuhta", "Gaspromdobychayamburg", OJSC "YUG" operate 93 power stations PAES-2500M, modernized by Perm GTU-2,5P, 9 modernized power stations EG-2500M, 30 gas turbine generator sets "URAL - 2500", rated 2,5 MW.
The operating time accumulated by the whole number of GTU-2,5P gas turbines for 2008 is 205 282 hours.
The total operating time of GTU-2,5P from the beginning of operation is 2 361 958 hours.
The high-time GTU 2,5P has accumulated 67 074 operating hours.
According to its technical condition the time between overhauls of GTU 2,5P has been prolonged up to 40% from 25 000 to 35 000 hours at "Gaspromtransgasyugorsk" and "Nadymgaspromdobycha", which proves reliability of Perm gas turbines.
