GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine rated at 12 MW
GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine is designed to drive generators of gas turbine generator sets.It is used as part of EGES-12S genset.
The gas turbine is designed on the basis of the PS-90A aircraft engine which is a unique Russian engine of the fourth generation for a civil aviation having the Certificate of the international standard.
GTU-12PG-2 is a modified model of GTU-12P mechanical drive.

The experience of GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine operation
As of the beginning of January, 2009 such companies as "Surgutneftegas" and "Lukoil- West Siberia" operate 23 GTU-12PG-2 as a part of EGES -12C. The oil-dissolved gas from the oil deposit is used as a fuel for GTU-12PG-2.
The operating time of GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine for 2008 is 139 189 hours.
Since operation start GTU-12PG-2 have accumulated 485 149 hours.
The operating time of the high-time GTU-12PG-2 is 43 239 hours.
