Large Russian Airlines Acquire Aircraft Equipped with PS-90A-Family Engines

Early in October two Airlines - Red Wings (the former "Airlines 400") and Volga-Dnepr -purchased aircraft equipped with the PS-90A-family engines. Ilyushin Finance Co. has provided Tu-204-100 aircraft to Red Wings for 15-year financial leasing. The IL-76TD-90VD aircraft is the second aircraft acquired by Volga-Dnepr.
Both the aircraft are equipped with different PS-90A engine models and may flyover the countries of Europe, because such aircraft meet ICAO noise and emission requirements.
