Dear readers!

Here is a special edition of information & engineering magazin «Perm Gas Turbines. Power Generation».
In December 2009 Aviadvigatel OJSC is celebrating 70 years from the date of its foundation. Moreover, in November the total capacity of power gas turbines and power generating sets of in-house design exceeded one gigawatt hours. We couldn't disregard such a significant event and have dedicated several pages of our publication to the history of Perm design school  and also to the development of gas turbines and power generating sets for power industry which is one of the most important business directions of Perm design company.
One of the most outstanding events of this year  was Perm gas turbines putting into operation on the facilities of LUKOIL, Bashkirenergo, Generatsiya Urala KES-Holding. More information about Pyakyakhinskaya GTES-24 and Tevlinsko-Russkinskaya GTES-48, GTES-16PA and GTES-25P gas turbine generating sets is given in our publication.
Operating companies references are the best estimation of design company activity. The publication presents the opinions of the largest gas and oil producers and industrial enterprises which are Aviadvigatel OJSC customers and partners.
Perm design-engineering school is permanently improving and is looking for new ways of developing. The information about one of the perspective directions - production of high-efficiency combined cycle gas turbine sets developed by Aviadvigatel  -  can be found in our edition.
