TECHNOLOGY: IN THE CUTTING EDGE
In May 2009 Aviadvigatel OJSC took part in the meeting of Technical Committee 414 Gas turbines of Russian technical control (TK414), which took place in P.I. Baranov Central Institute of Aviation Motors Federal State Unitary Enterprise (CIAM).
TK-414 main activity is development of state standards corresponding to international standards as well as works on development of Russian technical regulations that must comply with the level of development of National economy and material and technical basis connected with gas turbine life cycle support.
At the meeting the participants summed up the results of 10 years of TK-414 activity. Besides they studied issues connected with national and international standards under development and the project of technical regulations of gas turbines.
Participation of Aviadvigatel OJSC in TK-414 work gives an opportunity not only to receive necessary information concerning the international standards requirements that are constantly being improved. The most important thing is participation of design bureau specialists in the process of development of national standards and technical regulations concerning gas turbine equipment by sharing opinion with TK concerning document drafts and giving suggestions for their improvement.
