In May, 2009, in the Permskaya Yarmarka exhibition center an interregional exhibition was held devoted to the 25-th anniversary of Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky Ltd, Aviadvigatel OJSC, and Perm Engine Company OJSC, took part in the celebrations as one of the oldest partners of the Company.
About 40 enterprises were invited to participate in the exhibition devoted to Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky anniversary celebrations. They represented the last achievements in the sphere of natural gas transportation.
Having opened the exhibition Victor Chichelov, General Director of Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky Ltd, said: «The decision to organize our jubilee by this unusual way is connected first of all with our wish to demonstrate a high technical level of the enterprise, as well as to recognize those companies which have helped us to achieve this level. We are happy to mark this significant date with our reliable partners».
GTU-25P gas turbine became the central exhibit of not only Perm Motors exposition, but also of the whole exhibition.
The central exhibit of Perm engine builders` exposition and the exhibition itself was GTU-25P gas turbine taken from operation and delivered specially from Igrinskaya compressor station to demonstrate last achievements in gas transportation. GTU-25Ð gas turbine had been working at Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky facility for more than 9,000 hours. After some components upgrade the gas turbine will be delivered back to the station.
Aviadvigatel Design Bureau, Perm Engine Company OJSC and Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky Ltd. have got a 15-year experience of new technologies and new gas turbine equipment development and implementation. An essential stage in the partner relationships development was the creation, testing and pilot production of new generation machines of Ural series based on PS-90À aircraft engines. This work has been held in the scope of Ural-Gazprom program implementation since 1992. Twenty-one gas turbines rated at 10, 12, 16 and 25 MW are in operation at five compressor stations of Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky Ltd. As of the beginning of May, 2009 the total running time of Perm gas turbines amounted to more than 443,200 hours.
According to Mikhail Khairullin, Deputy General Designer and Chief Designer of Gas Turbine Drives for Power Generating Sets and Facilities of Their Application, Aviadvigatel OJSC, Perm engine builders and gas workers are connected not only by 15 years of cooperation, but also by real friendship, unity in their search for ways of gas transportation and engine-building industries development in Perm Region and the whole country. «We can say for certain that Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky is the «godfather» of industrial gas turbine equipment of Aviadvigatel OJSC», - believes M.F. Khairullin. He continues: «Compressor stations of Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky became a proof ground for our equipment. Today, when Perm gas turbine production has got on to its feet and we have produced the 500-th machine, our fertile cooperation has not lost its importance. I do want to express confidence that gas turbine fleet operated at Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky facilities will grow steadily».
According to Alexander Inozemtsev, General Designer of Aviadvigatel OJSC, the cooperation between Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky and Perm engine-building enterprises is more than 15 years. «We are much obliged to our colleagues for their tolerance and understanding, constructive approach in any problem solving. We are glad, that our fellow countrymen are those who become the first owners of the most advanced techniques. I am sure that equipment developed by our Design Bureau places Gazprom transgaz Chaikovsky at the leading positions at the domestic gas production industry», - underlined Inozemtsev A. A.
