TESTING OF FUEL SYSTEM FINISHED IN GAZPROM TRANSGAZ SURGUT LTD
Successful testing of Ural series GPA-16-04 gas compressor plant equipped with upgraded fuel gas system was finished on Purtazovskaya-3 gas compressor station of Gazprom Transgaz Surgut Ltd.
Gazprom specialists had earlier made the following requirement: the gas turbine must work on unheated fuel gas (Ò = 11 °Ñ) with pressure of up to 75 kgs/cm2. This complies with main gas parameters and allows avoiding treatment plants for fuel, startup and control gas.
To achieve this the Aviadvigatel specialists equipped the existing fuel gas system with a new DGV-3V metering unit manufactured by MPO Rumyantseva OJSC and a new SKV isolation valve. These modifications implied software update (Gas Compressor Plant MSKU 5000-01-11-04 Automatic Control System).
Based on the results of the tests performed, the acceptance committee declared the updated fuel supply system of GPA-16-04 gas compressor plant operable, even at subzero temperatures, and recommended to accept it for pilot operation until its running time reaches 8000 hours.
