GTES-16PA POWER PLANT TO BE SUPPLIED TO BASHKIRENERGO OJSC
Aviadvigatel OJSC and Bashkir Generating Company Ltd (subsidiary of Bashkirenergo OJSC) signed a supply contract for GTES-16PA power plant. The delivery is scheduled for 2009.
GTES-16PA gas turbine power plant with the capacity of 16 MW is based on GTE-16PA power generation gas turbine with PS-90EU-16À engine. It was developed in cooperation of Aviadvigatel OJSC with Pratt&Whitney (USA), a well-known engine-building company.
The power plant will operate in cogeneration cycle, using natural gas as fuel. The new gas turbine driven CHP plant based on Perm-built GTES-16PA is destined to replace an outdated boiler shop of the chemical fertilizer factory in the city of Meleuz.
Bashkir power specialists have selected Aviadvigatel by tender. An important factor was long and positive experience of using Perm-built gas turbine machinery on various facilities of Bashkirenergo OJSC.
Presently, the Aviadvigatel specialists are working on the implementation of the supply contract for GTES-25P gas turbine power plant for Bashkirenergo OJSC. The equipment is being shipped to the erection site of Ufimskaya CHP-1plant.
