Aleksey Borisovich Mikhalev
Was born in 1974 in the town of Novokuznetsk (the Kemerovo region).
Education: in 1996 he graduated from Siberian State Mining and Smelting Academy with a specialization in «Non-ferrous metallurgy»; in 2002 he graduated cum laude from Kranoyarsk State Academy of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold where he took the course «RUSAL company reserve training».
In 1996 he started working at Novokuznetsk Aluminium Plant as a non-ferrous founder. In 2000 after compulsory two-year draft he continued his career in the company. Within seven years he rose from non-ferrous founder to head of a foundry production business unit. In April 2007 he was named Head of CJSC branch «RUSAL Global Management» business unit, in January 2008 - Head of LLC «RUSAL-RESAL» (town of Belaya Kalitva).
In 2010 Aleksey Mikhalev switched over to MC "United Engine Building Corporation", where he became the Head of Department of corporate production system development. Moreover, starting from January 2010 Aleksey Mikhalev was also holding the office of the Head of Department of OJSC «Perm Engine Company» production system development.
In April 2011 he was named Managing Director of OJSC «Perm Engine Company».
